TBZ Thomas Becker Zahntechnik
Website
astro, vercel, umami, web3forms

For TBZ Thomas Becker Zahntechnik, a master dental laboratory in Hüttblek (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany), we built the new website: a one-pager for dental practices and their patients – calm, refined and as personal as the lab itself.
Structure
- Home: the wordmark as on the business card, a short introduction and a direct route to booking an appointment.
- About: the owner's career, a portrait and his motto, “individually crafted – a perfect smile”.
- Services: crowns & bridges, implant prosthetics, complete dentures, veneers, and repair & service – each analogue or fully digital.
- Shade matching: in the lab and at the dental practice.
- Gallery: real photos from the lab instead of stock images.
- Contact: contact details and a form, with legal notice and privacy policy as separate pages.
Custom design, no template
The site was built without a site builder or theme. We redrew the wordmark from the business card as a vector graphic, so the website and print material look the same.
Fast, lean and privacy-friendly
The site is built with Astro: it is fully pre-rendered and served as static HTML – no database, no plugins, very short load times. Images are delivered automatically in modern formats (AVIF/WebP) and at the right size for each device.
Fonts are served from the site's own server rather than Google Fonts. Analytics run on self-hosted Umami without cookies, and contact-form enquiries arrive by email via Web3Forms. Since the site sets no cookies and does no tracking, it needs no cookie banner.
Set up for Google
Search Console, a sitemap, structured business data and a preview image for shared links were in place from launch. Deployment runs automatically from GitHub to Vercel.
Stack: Astro, static HTML, Vercel, Web3Forms, self-hosted Umami, optimised AVIF/WebP images, self-hosted fonts.
